Residential Rental Permit Training Video

Produced by the South Dakota Multi-Housing Association (SDMHA) in cooperation with the City of Sioux Falls

Completion of the video fulfills the requirements of Sioux Falls City Ordinance 150.177 (e): “The applicant must attend a minimum of two hours of course curriculum, which has been approved by the director of planning and development services, prior to the residential rental permit approval. The applicant shall be exempt from this provision if the applicant's property will be managed by any individual licensed as a broker, broker associate, property manager, or residential rental agent with the South Dakota Real Estate Commission.

When you have completed the video, please submit this affidavit. 

Upon submission and verification by the City, a certificate of completion will be emailed to the viewer within five (5) business days. The applicant must provide a copy of the certificate with the residential rental permit application.
