Street Construction Updates & Closures

Street Closure – 41st Street

Beginning on Monday, April 28, 2025, West 41st Street will be closed between Broek Drive and Lana Drive. A temporary detour will be established using South Ellis Road, West 12th Street, and 466th Avenue.

Metro Construction will be installing new water, storm, and sanitary sewer crossings.

This work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, May 9, 2025.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures – 57th Street and Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Monday, April 28, 2025, the outside northbound lane on South Cliff Avenue will be closed at 57th Street. The westbound right turn lane of East 57th Street will also be closed at Cliff Avenue.

Smart Commercial Construction will be replacing the sidewalk at the northeast corner of the intersection of 57th Street and Cliff Avenue.

This work is expected to be completed within one week.
