Diagonal Parking Closure – Phillips Avenue
Beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025, all parking along both sides of South Phillips Avenue, between Ninth Street and 13th Street will be closed.
Pavement markings will be painted near the back of the diagonal parking stalls.
Vehicles that are not moved by 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening may be towed to prevent overspray paint damage.
This work is anticipated to be completed and parking re-opened at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure - Louise Avenue
Beginning on Monday April 14, 2025, the outside northbound lane of South Louise Avenue will be closed between 85th Street and Bitterroot Street to allow crews to perform sidewalk repairs.
The outside eastbound left turn lane on 85th Street and the outside westbound lane of 85th Street just east of Louise Avenue will also be closed as part of this work.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within two days.

McKennan Park Pool and Bathhouse Removal
Beginning on Monday, April 14, 2025, the City of Sioux Falls will begin removing the existing McKennan Park pool and bathhouse in preparation for the construction of a new pool and bathhouse this summer.
Construction of the new facility will begin later this spring and continue through the summer months.
Park users are urged to use caution and stay clear of the construction activities.
Lane Closure – Cleveland Avenue
Beginning on Monday, April 14, 2025, the southbound lane on North Cleveland Avenue will be closed just north of Madison Street and will be diverted to the center turn lane.
WJS Construction will be replacing the sidewalk and the driveway approach to Dakota Ridge Apartments.
This work is anticipated to be completed in approximately two weeks.
