Community Asked to Save the Date for Big Sioux Stewardship Summit
Published on March 11, 2025
The City of Sioux Falls is partnering with South Dakota State University to host the Big Sioux Stewardship Summit on Wednesday, April 16 and Thursday, April 17, 2025. This event reimagines and expands the annual Big Sioux River and Sustainability Summit the City has hosted previously.
The summit will convene speakers and stakeholders in the community working on environmental initiatives in the region. Presentations and workshops will be focused on three areas: water resources, regenerative agriculture, and urban stewardship. The event will be held over two days: April 16 will offer various tours by bus, and an April 17 conference will be hosted at the Holiday Inn City Centre.
More details about this year’s Big Sioux Stewardship Summit will be released as the two-day event approaches. Registration is now open until Wednesday, April 2. You can find the latest information on the City’s website at siouxfalls.gov/stewardship.
