Lane Closures – Eighth Street

Beginning on Thursday, October 31, 2024, the westbound lane and center turn lane on East Eighth Street will be closed between Fairfax Avenue and Indiana Avenue to allow crews to perform pavement patching. Westbound traffic will be detoured to Seventh Street. Eastbound traffic will not be impacted.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day. 

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Rescheduled Lane Closure – Cliff Ave

The work on South Cliff Avenue originally scheduled to occur on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, has been postponed.

Beginning on Friday, November 1, 2024, the center lane of South Cliff Avenue will be closed between 15th Street and Prospect Street to allow crews to perform sanitary sewer repairs.

Weather permitting, the repairs are expected to be completed by the end of the day.
