Street Construction Updates & Closures

Street Closure – Arrowhead Parkway

Beginning on Monday, October 21, 2024, East Arrowhead Parkway will be closed between Veterans Parkway and Six Mile Road to allow crews to add a turn lane from Arrowhead Parkway onto Hein Avenue.

Traffic will be detoured to 26th Street via Veterans Parkway and Six Mile Road. Local traffic for residents and businesses will be maintained from the east.

This work is anticipated to be completed in approximately one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures – 10th Street and 11th Street

Beginning after 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024, traffic on West 10th Street and 11th Street will be reduced to one lane between Main Avenue and Phillips Avenue to allow crews to work on the sanitary sewer. 

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within a few days.
