Street Construction Updates & Closures - UPDATED

Utility Work – Duluth Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, October 3, 2024, crews will be performing repairs to the sanitary sewer at South Duluth Avenue between West 12th Street and West 13th Street. There will be intermittent short term lane restrictions, short term road closures, driveway access restrictions, and street parking restrictions as the work progresses. 

Weather permitting, the repairs are anticipated to be complete within one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – 41st Street

Beginning Friday, October 4, 2024, East 41st Street will be closed east of South Six Mile Road.

Black-Top Paving will be paving a portion of East 41st Street. The work is expected to be complete in one week.

Lane Closures – Marion Road

Beginning on Thursday, October 3, 2024, the northbound lanes on North Marion Road, will be closed between West Vision Drive and West Maple Street. Northbound traffic will be diverted to one of the southbound bound lanes; traffic will operate in the southbound lanes.

Lidel Construction will be installing new utilities. The work is expected to be complete in two weeks.
