Street Construction Update

Lane Closure – Kiwanis Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, August 1, 2024, the outside northbound lane on North Kiwanis Avenue will be closed just north of West Ninth Street.

Telcom Construction will be working on fiber lines located in a manhole in the traffic lane. The work is expected to be complete before 4:30 PM.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Utility Work – Annway Drive

Beginning on Thursday, August 1, 2024, crews will be performing repairs to the sanitary sewer at South Annway Drive between East 13th Street and East 15th Street.  There will be intermittent short term lane restrictions, short term road closures, and driveway access restrictions as the work progresses. 

Weather permitting, the repairs are anticipated to be complete within two weeks.
