Street Construction Update

Street Closures – Shirley Avenue and 34th Street

Beginning on Wednesday afternoon, July 17, 2024, South Shirley Avenue from Shirley Place to 34th Street will be closed. West 34th Street from Shirley Avenue to Louise Avenue will also be closed.

The Sioux Falls Street Division will be performing road maintenance work. Weather pending, this work is anticipated to be completed by 12 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
