Street Construction Update

Street Closure – Burns Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, South Burns Avenue will be closed between Linedrive Avenue and Burnsfield Avenue.

Prunty Construction will be working on new utilities. The work is expected to be complete in approximately one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Louise Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, the outside southbound lane on South Louise Avenue will be closed just north of 47th Street.

Wiltech Fiber Optics will be repairing one of their lines on Wednesday, and Telcom will be repairing their line on Thursday. This work is anticipated to be complete by the end of the day Thursday.

Street Closure – Career Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, North Career Avenue will be closed between Benson Road and 54th Street North. A detour will be signed utilizing North Louise Avenue.

Soukup will be working on new utilities and completing West 51st Street North intersection with Career Ave. The work is expected to be complete and Career Avenue open on or before Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
