Street Closure – 90th Street

Beginning on Monday, June 3, 2024, the west leg of West 90th Street will be closed at South Louise Avenue.

Xcel Energy is continuing work on installing new underground and overhead facilities. This phase of work is anticipated to be completed in two weeks.

This multi-phase project is expected to be ongoing and anticipated to be completed in August, depending on weather and construction progress.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Louise Avenue

Beginning on Monday, June 3, 2024, northbound traffic on South Louise Avenue will be reduced to one lane at West 85th Street. One lane of southbound traffic will be shifted to the northbound side, and the Southbound traffic lanes will be closed beginning at West 85th Street, continuing south. Traffic Control setup will begin staging for the closure overnight.

Additional phases of work include additional lanes closures, however one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.
