Car Seat Installation and Checks

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue has car seat technicians available to provide you with the information necessary for keeping your child safe in the vehicle. All fire stations have qualified car seat technicians if you need help with an installation and fit.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue provides an event each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Fire Station 3, 2820 S. Minnesota Ave. for car seat check and installations.

In addition to Sioux Falls Fire Rescue's car seat checks and installations, Sanford Children's CHILD Services (The Bridges, 5015 S Western Ave, Suite 120) offers new car seats to state aid qualified individuals - examples: WIC, SNAP, CHIP, Medicaid Installations by appointment only: 605-312-8390

8 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Monday - Friday to pick up new car seats
10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Monday - Friday for Installations
