Animal Control is separate from the Humane Society. The Humane Society houses animals picked up within the city. The Humane Society will hold animals without city license or microchip for (3) 24-hr periods, and (5) 24-hr periods with city license or microchip, not including Sundays & holidays. Afterwards, those animals become the property of the Humane Society.
