Biography
Ryan and his wife, Emily, have called Sioux Falls home for over 15 years. Raised as a farm kid in Lidgerwood, ND, Spellerberg learned the value of hard work, determination, and grit at a young age.
Ryan graduated from Northern State University with a degree in business and economics and launched a career in financial services. Ryan is currently a mortgage lender with First Bank & Trust and has been in the mortgage industry for over 20 years.
Ryan is passionate about affordable housing and financial literacy. He has volunteered, fundraised, and donated to Habitat for Humanity and volunteered for the Sioux Falls Veteran’s Community Project. He has helped many families get out of debt through teaching Financial Peace University. Ryan has volunteered through Junior Achievement to educate local students on debt and help them understand financial fundamentals.
Ryan enjoys staying active through working out, biking the trails, kayaking, and golfing. He is also a die-hard Chicago Bears fan—Go Bears!
