Positions
- Assist with various urban forest management activities, which may include, but are not limited to, inventory updates, marking trees for removal, coordinating with homeowners, and performing site inspections.
- Work closely with City of Sioux Falls contractors removing street trees to monitor progress and inspect work for quality assurance.
- Assist with the City of Sioux Falls planting permit program, performing initial site inspections and re-inspecting planted sites.
- Assisting Parks and Recreation Division staff with day-to-day operations within the office and other duties as assigned.

- Operate equipment to provide labor associated with the maintenance of trees.
- Operate non-CDL vehicles to haul tree debris
- Perform site cleanup duties related to tree work
- Plant, mulch, and aid in the establishment of new trees

- Seasonal employment available April through October. Year-long part time (maximum of 28 hours per week) employment may also be available.
