Experience the joy of the holiday season at Winter Wonderland, a dazzling display of holiday lights tucked in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls. A cherished tradition, we’re celebrating 21 years of holiday magic with Winter Wonderland at The Falls starting Friday, November 22 to January 5, 2025.

Grand Opening

Mark your calendar for Friday, November 22: We kick off the festivities with a lighting up The Falls at 5 p.m., with fireworks to follow at 6 p.m.

While you're exploring, make sure to swing by the Falls Overlook Café. It's the perfect place for a family photo and a tasty holiday treat of hot cocoa or cider.

Nightly Wonder

Winter Wonderland will come to life from Friday, November 22, through Sunday, January 5, 2025. You have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the festive spirit. Enjoy the holiday display every evening from 5 p.m. until the stroke of midnight. Let the twinkling lights brighten any cold winter night!

A Holiday Tradition

Winter Wonderland has been a cherished tradition for 21 wonderful years. What started as a few strands of lights and a lighted reindeer at The Falls has grown to over 25 miles of twinkling light strands and other holiday decorations. That’s the distance from The Falls to Lennox, SD. You'll also discover 260 decorated trees, 215 beautifully adorned light poles, and more than a mile of garland.
