Notice to Patrons

Starting April 9th, the 50 Meter pool will switch to Long Course (50m lanes) on Wednesdays at 11 am and revert to Short Course (25 yard lanes) on Thursdays at 1 pm. This impacts lane availability and diving board access. Swim meet weeks (April 27th & May 11th) will maintain Long Course Wednesday through Sunday. Specific dates are:

• Flip to Long Course: April 9th, April 16th, April 23rd, May 7th, May 14th, May 21st, May 28th, June 4th
• Flip to Short Course: April 10th, April 17th, April 27th (Swim Meet), May 11th (Swim Meet), May 15th, May 22nd, May 29th, June 5th

Sioux Falls' first indoor aquatic center! Managed and operated by Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation, the aquatic center is located in the heart of Sioux Falls, South Dakota in beautiful Spellerberg Park.

With three pools, meeting and party rooms, lockers and changing rooms, mezzanine, concessions, an outdoor splash pad and outdoor sundeck and much more - Midco® Aquatic Center is your home for year-round indoor swimming pool adventures!

Monday-Friday: 5:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m.–6 p.m.
Sunday: 12 noon–5 p.m.

Swim Meets

The 50 Meter Pool is an Olympic size pool that is equipped with two bulkheads to allow for multiple activities to take place at one time. The pool can be configured with ten 50-meter lanes or 20 25-yard lanes.

The Recreation Pool is a multipurpose pool that accommodates recreation, lap swimming, water fitness and swimming lessons. The Recreation Pool is surrounded by glass to bring the outdoors in and provide ample outdoor lighting.

The Warm Water Pool is adjacent to the recreation pool and is perfect for recreation, water fitness, swimming lessons and for those suffering from joint pain, fibromyalgia, or arthritis.

The Midco Aquatic Center has a lobby that is a perfect place to come and relax by the fireplace. The lobby area is a great place to watch the fun of the sledding hill, enjoy time with friends, or to recharge yourself.

The Splash Pad and outdoor Sun Deck are located on the south side of the facility. The splash pad is fun for all ages and includes interactive play features and outdoor seating. Midco Aquatic Center guests will be able to access the splash pad from the recreation pool.
